From my first design job, through to long-term positions at award-winning firms such as Cox Architecture, Archertec Interiors and Architects Ring & Associates, I developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise as a qualified interior designer.

Project highlights include the world renowned Willinga Park Equestrian Centre, an Australia Embassy in Myanmar, the Canberra Airport Group office fitout, and a diverse range of residential projects from high-end to more budget friendly design.

Though over the years, I developed an interest in health, in addition to my love of the outdoors. But each project grew a niggle deep down – that health and sustainability were vastly misunderstood and neglected in today’s industry. And then, following a personal health battle after a nasty mould infestation, my path became clear.

You don’t work a field for 17 years if you are not passionate about what you do. But greater than passion is purpose.

The Paradigm Room was established in 2022, following 14 years prior in the industry, with the intention to disrupt traditional design in favour of health and wellbeing, at every step of the design journey.

Now I provide complete interior design services in Toowoomba and interior eDesign services in Australia and beyond to support your wellbeing and the environment. I am also a Certified Passivhaus Designer.

Additionally, with 10+ years of ongoing health and toxin-focused research behind my expertise, I ensure that each and every project is considering the health and environmental impacts. This research includes a thesis, The Morbid Health Implications of Living in the Interior Built Environment (2021), plus, a book collaboration published by Elsevier (2024), Sustainability and Toxicity of Building Materials: Manufacture, Use and Disposal Stages.
